This Privacy Policy explains how Mileage+ ("the App") handles your information. We take your privacy seriously and have designed the App to minimize data collection.

1. Information We Collect

a) Data you provide When you set up a vehicle, you enter details such as make, model, year, fuel type, distance unit, nickname, and mileage. This information is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers.

b) Push notification tokens If you enable push notifications, your device generates a notification token via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). This token is used solely to deliver mileage reminders to your device. We do not use it to identify you or link it to personal information.

c) We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email, or account credentials
• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Payment information (purchases are handled entirely by Apple/Google)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Vehicle data: used entirely on-device to display your maintenance schedule and mileage history
• Notification token: used only to send you the reminders you have opted into

3. Data Storage & Security

All vehicle and mileage data is stored locally on your device using standard OS storage. We do not operate servers that store your personal vehicle data. You can delete all data by uninstalling the App.
